The Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE) at Oklahoma State University celebrates the launch of its national Counter-UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Center of Excellence at the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University, which is located in the heart of the OKC Innovation District.
The new center will further solidify OSU's leadership in emerging drone technology and science, bringing together the resources and research to place Oklahoma at the forefront of this vital specialty area charged with safeguarding the nation from the weaponization of drones.
The launch announcement is part of OSU’s Counter-UAS Symposium, which focuses on developments on the future of Oklahoma’s aerospace industry, its innovations and economy.
