Most commonly relate the word "investing" with money--but it's time and effort that has also propelled David Batchelder. Batchelder received his accounting degree at OSU in 1971. Since then, Batchelder served as a director of 11 public companies including five in the Fortune 500. He is now founder/principal of Relational Investors LLC, an activist investment fund with $6 billion under management serving some of the largest pension funds in the world. In 2013, Batchelder was inducted into the OSU Alumni Hall of Fame. Batchelder spoke with OStateTV at the ceremony.
