Congratulations to Dr. Carl Whitcomb for being honored as a 2022 Champion for Oklahoma State University Agriculture!
Dr. Whitcomb received his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and graduate degrees from Iowa State University. He joined the OSU Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture in 1972, becoming a full professor. Dr. Whitcomb left the department in 1985 to start his own business, Lacebark Inc. in Stillwater. Throughout his career, he has had a significant impact on OSU students, research and the horticultural industry.
