Dr. Lindsey Claire Smith, director of the Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa chats with Terese Mailhot, author of the compelling memoir, HEART BERRIES. Terese was to be a headliner of the 2020 Tulsa LitFest, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was moved online.
With OSU alumna Jasha Lyons-Echohawk calling in, Smith and Mailhot discussed motherhood (in a pandemic!), deciding how much cultural information to share, telling the truth and making active choices to love.
