Richard Dermer was born at his home 100 feet from the OSU campus in 1939. Dermer’s memories of OSU begin in 1943 when he started attending the preschool lab on campus, now the Child Development Lab (CDL), where his children and grandchildren have also attended. In this oral history interview excerpt from the O-STATE Stories oral history collection, Dermer looks back on the early days of attending the CDL. For more, visit the Oklahoma Oral History Research Program at the OSU Library.
