ARCHIVES: Building a New Power Plant
From Nina Thornton
Edwin E. Glover graduated from Oklahoma A&M College in 1947 with a bachelor’s degree in business. As a student, he worked for twenty cents an hour digging a ditch from Life Sciences to Whitehurst Hall. He later helped maintain all the heating and water and electricity for the campus. Glover would go on to work at Oklahoma State University from 1965-1987 in the accounting department. In this oral history interview excerpt from the O-STATE Stories oral history collection, he looks back on how helping to build the new power plant on campus impacted his life.
