Alexis Wiebe is an agricultural economics senior from Hooker, Oklahoma. She was named a 2016 Oklahoma State University Outstanding Senior on April 18 by the OSU Alumni Association.
While at OSU, Wiebe served as Student Government Association special projects director, Into the Streets student involvement executive, President’s Leadership Council facilitator and was a Mortar Board and Student Alumni Board member. Her community involvement includes Eagle Heights Baptist Church AWANAS, Oklahoma State FFA Convention, Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp, Oklahoma City Regional Food Bank and Kids Against Hunger. Wiebe’s awards include Congressman Frank Lucas CASNR agricultural policy intern, receiving her American FFA Degree, Farm Credit of western Oklahoma Washington, D.C. lobbying trip, Oklahoma Agribusiness Retail Association scholarship and Academic Excellence scholarship.
After graduation, Wiebe plans on working in the finance and public policy sector. She is moving to Depew, Okla., and will be marrying Kyle Hilbert in August.
