Andrea Cerar is an English and spanish major from Tulsa, Okla. She is the daughter of Ed and Tanya Cerar.
While at OSU, Cerar has served as editor-in-chief of The Odyssey, President’s Leadership Council Group facilitator, Blue Key Honor Society secretary, College of Arts & Sciences Freshman Forum coordinator and Sigma Delta Pi treasurer. She has volunteered with Relay for Life, Up ‘til Dawn, Big Event, Theta Rocks the CASA as event coordinator and Camp Cowboy as a counselor. Cerar received the Honors College General Honors Award and was named to OSU Homecoming Royalty Top 15. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, named a College of Arts and Sciences Top Ten Senior and was on the President’s Honor Roll.
Cerar plans to work in Oklahoma City for Teach for America organization educating and advocating on behalf of students in lower income communities.
