The Eagle Adventure, a collaboration between the Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Services Get Fresh! program and Oklahoma State University’s Department of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Human Sciences, has been named the recipient of the 2012 Dr. Rodney Huey Memorial Champion of Oklahoma Health award, the highest honor of the Champions of Health awards. Stephany Parker, associate research professor in nutritional sciences, facilitates efforts to deliver the program in schools where at least 50% of the children receive free or reduced price lunches.
