Gov. Mary Fallin, joined by OSU officials, signs the Oklahoma Hospital Residency Training Program Act. Statistics show that medical students will practice in the same area where they performed their residency. The new law aims to make more residencies available in rural Oklahoma to attract and keep more primary care physicians in thse underserved areas.
