Kaelyne Yumul is an English and political science senior from Southlake, Texas. She was recognized as a 2016 Oklahoma State University Outstanding Senior on April 18 by the OSU Alumni Association. During her time at OSU, Yumul served as Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature speaker of the house and delegation chair, an Honors College ambassador, New Student Orientation leader and the Living History Association secretary. Her community involvement includes Tiny Paws, Legal Aid Services, OSU Museum of Art, hosting a Voter Registration Drive and the Big Event. Yumul’s awards include Outstanding English Major, Outstanding Political Science Major, Undergraduate Library Research Award honorable mention, Wentz Semester Research Grant and first place in OIL Moot Court competition. Yumul will attend law school and specialize in either criminal justice or immigration law.
