Imagine what it would be like to be active, healthy and just in your dream job --- Then to be told by a doctor that you would go blind in one eye and there’s nothing I can do about it. What’s more, you might lose the vision in your other eye too.
That was the devastating news that faced 46-year-old Leon McClinton, Oklahoma State University’s Director of Housing & Resident Life.
But a colleague urged Leon to get a second opinion at Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. There, he got a much different answer thanks to a revolutionary procedure and the surgeon who helped pioneer it. Today, Leon is seeing the world with restored vision and hope.
