The Oklahoma State University Museum of Art is pleased to introduce Richard Tuttle: A Print Retrospective, bringing one of the nation’s most significant working artists to Oklahoma. The exhibition, on view from Feb. 8 to May 7, is the second in the museum’s New York Project, an exhibition series presenting the work of high-profile New York artists of the past half century at OSU. Richard Tuttle, whose work can be found in major collections such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is perhaps best known for his printmaking – a technique that involves creating an original work of art by transferring a design onto a surface through the use of a plate, block, stone or screen.
