OSU Junior Andrew Gray has a passion for bettering childhood education throughout the developing world. He has been working with Pencils of Promise. Founded in 2008, Pencils of Promise has built over 150 schools and increased educational opportunities throughout Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Andrew decided to organize a Semester At Sea sponsored field program to visit a Pencils of Promise school while the ship was ported in Ghana.
