Oklahoma State University (OSU) was introduced to a new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) known as the Sandstorm. The aircraft emulates the popular military unmanned aerial vehicle, the Predator. Piloted remotely from Stillwater, the Sandstorm flew in restricted airspace near Lawton-Ft. Sill, which is owned by OSU's University Multispectral Laboratories.
