1) Perform an irrigation system audit to ensure you don't have any leaks and that the water is going where you want it to.
2) Using faucet timers and drip irrigation simplifies the irrigation process and can decrease water loss to evaporation.
3) Containers and hanging baskets tend to dry out faster, so keep an eye on them.
4) Put your garden somewhere it is visible and easily accessible if you are hand watering.
