"Copyright in Higher Education" is an overview of copyright as it pertains to teaching, authoring, and publishing. Topics include determining what content is protectable by copyright, conducting a fair use analysis, statutory exemptions (educational use, TEACH Act), joint authorship, Creative Commons, copyright transfer, and author rights retention. This session was a part of a weeklong series of conversations on a variety of open access topics during Open Access Week 2018.
