Congratulations to Dr. Joe Williams for being honored as a 2022 Champion for Oklahoma State University Agriculture!

Dr. Williams received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University and his doctoral degree from Iowa State University. In 1975, he joined the OSU Department of Agricultural Economics and quickly became the favorite professor of many students. Williams also served as director of both the Initiative for the Future of Rural Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program.
