Today on Oklahoma Gardening Host Casey Hentges takes a look at a rather large family of Lily's. She compares Asian Lilies to Daylilies and gives us a few tips to tell the difference between a true member of the Liliaceae family and those that are not.

Segment 2 (4:45)
Lynda Carrier looks in on a tomato variety trail and compares some observations of this years (2020) tomatoes to last years (2019). The trail takes place in three different locations; field grown, greenhouse, and high tunnel with three cherry tomato varieties and three slice tomato varieties.
Cherry tomato varieties include: BHN 268 (Determinate), Sakura (Indeterminate), Favorita (Indeterminate).
Slice tomato varieties include: Trust (Indeterminate), BHN 964 (Determinate), Geronimo (Indeterminate).

In Oklahoma City we talk with Riley Coy, a Service Forester, to see how the city government is working with the Oklahoma Forestry Services to prepare for the Emerald Ash Borer in order to maintain a healthy tree canopy.

Casey has some preliminary observation from our Bermudagrass Eradication Study out at the Cimarron Valley Research Station in Perkins. Out of the 30 different approaches towards eradication, we decide to take a closer look at our glyphosate and mulch treatments.

Segment 5 (22:50)
And Food Nutritionalist, Barbara Brown makes a refreshing sangria tea. The fruit she decides to use for this was some strawberries and an orange but you can use whatever fruit you like best!
